CCASCOE Education & Training

The Education & Training Branch (E&T) leads CCASCOE’s efforts to build knowledge, skills, and analytical capacity at the intersection of climate change and security. Through a core curriculum of courses, workshops, and collaborative learning initiatives, CCASCOE’s E&T supports military personnel, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in systematically integrating climate considerations into security planning and decision-making.

In cooperation with a broad network of training stakeholders, the Branch seeks to advance the highest standards of effective adult learning while developing innovative and practice-oriented approaches to climate change and security education. Its work is designed to ensure that climate-related challenges are not only understood conceptually, but also translated into meaningful learning, professional development, and practical planning and decision support.
